LastPass premium pricing got doubled

The corporation has granted a free and premium version of the password manager up till now, and that won’t shift with the update.

It stated lately that it will propose a third option, LastPass Families, to combine the two products.

It Families includes six LastPass Premium users, a new family dashboard for maintaining all accounts, and group and share functionality.

Probably the greatest change for existing LastPass Premium users is the addition of the yearly price to $24. The Premium was at for $12 up until now which indicates that the price doubled both for new and existing customers.

The Premium is now ready for $24 per year and comprises all the features in Free, plus emergency access, the capability to share single passwords and things with multiple people, priority tech support, superior multi-factor authentication, LastPass for applications, and 1GB of encrypted file storage.

Please note, existing Prime customers will have all prior sharing capabilities via their one given folder.

This makes the pricing of LastPass Families more engaging, considering that you get six The Premium licenses for $48. Certainly, that is only an advantage if you need at least two, better three or more of the licenses.

Considering that LastPass Premium is great for all the devices you use yourself, it only makes reason in a family or group context.

The Premium users won’t see any changes besides the price hike. All the current features remain as they are right now.
