Google announced today that the company has successfully rolled out free public WiFi at 400 Indian railway stations in collaboration with RailTel. Dibrugarh railway station in Assam has become the 400th station to go live, Google said in a statement. The initiative was first announced in 2015 by the company’s CEO Sundar Pichai and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
