Flipkart-backed online payments platform PhonePe has accused foreign companies like Google of not complying with RBI guidelines to store their data only in India. In a blog post, PhonePe hinted that foreign companies have been avoiding processing data in India as they don’t want to pay taxes. The company also insisted that Google keep its payments data exclusively in India.
